After working in South and Southeast Texas, I'm ruined for good Tex-Mex. Most places you find are about as "authentic" as WalMart margarita mix. El Agave had very knowledgeable staff who gave good recommendations. And the food was the best I've had since leaving Texas. Spring for the top shelf fajitas, you won't regret it!
It's such a great place! My friends and I are staying at the Hampton Inn nearby and decided to give this place a try. We live in South Florida, where we have a melting pot of cuisine, and I have to say, this is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. The food was so fresh and served fast. The staff was lovely and so kind. Even my kids, who are a tad on the pickier side, really loved the food. My daughter especially liked the rice. I had the spinach and mushroom enchiladas and a skinny margarita, and it was so delicious.
The food was sooo amazing. It is one of the best Mexican food restaurants I have ever eaten at. Service was great.
